I believe that learning new skills and taking on new adventures is what keeps the heart young. I have dedicated my life to serving my nation, and communities. I spent many years in the United States military where I learned how to work alongside others from all walks of life. I learned dedication and loyalty. I also learned that when there is a will there is a way, so persevere no matter how dark the path looks.

Later I spent my years doing inspections in refineries, striving to make the environment safer for those who work there and the communities around them. I honed my attention to detail and ability to decipher regulatory documents. I wrote multiple technical manuals and managed a team of dedicated engineers and inspectors.

After I finished my work there I took the opportunity to finally go to college. As a Communication major with a minor in Professional Writing, I am excited to take my experience and knowledge down new paths to find ways to continue serving my community and those around me.
